Extract Reconstruction

Tidy a messy booking dump so a later review can start from an honest file rather than a tangle of tabs.

Who it is for

Operators who want a Route Profitability Review or Booking Behaviour Study but whose reservation export currently lives in several ledgers.

What you leave with

A documented, dated corridor file with a codebook for flags (staff, refund, open ticket, disruption) and a list of what still cannot be trusted.

Scope

One operator extract family. We do not merge unrelated companies.

Included

  • Column mapping and a codebook
  • Deduplication rules written down
  • A exceptions log (rows we would not use in a review)
  • Handover call of thirty minutes

Not included

  • Ongoing nightly extracts
  • Building a warehouse
  • Training your whole office on spreadsheets

Who does the work

Systemcraftpoint.

How the study runs

  1. Receive sample files from each ledger.
  2. Propose mapping; you confirm staff and complimentary codes.
  3. Deliver the reconstructed file and codebook.
  4. Handover call.

What to prepare

Send samples, not slogans. Password-protected archives are fine; we will agree a transfer method on first contact.

Limits we will not paper over

If a ledger has no unique ticket identity, reconstruction will still leave duplicates. We record that rather than hide it.

Next step

Attach a sample week and name the ledgers involved.
